Ballet

All our ballet classes are taught using the ATOD Syllabus (Australian Teachers Of Dance Ballet Syllabus).

Le Petite Ballet

Students are introduced to the magic and fun of mime, music and dance. Students are given the opportunity to explore space, develop musicality and to improve co-ordination whilst developing listening and social skills; improving fine and gross motor skills and the exploring self expression.

Primary & Junior students are introduced to the basics of ballet in a fun, but structured format. Attention is given to grooming and deportment along side the ballet terminology and technique. Intermediate students are encouraged to develop their technique and understanding of ballet as a dance genre. The level of difficulty is stepped up each term, whilst focus is always maintained on the basics of core strength, flexibility and deportment. Adult students are welcome to join the intermediate class.

Rock and Ballet

Students undertaking this class will be taught ballet but with a much more contemporary feel as modern age music is used in place of traditional ballet music. The Rock and Ballet class is sure to interest those wishing to undertake ballet with a more relaxed and casual feel behind it.

Combined Ballet, Tap, Singing

Using ATOD Ballet and Tap Syllabi students are introduced to the magic and fun of mime, music and dance using both ballet and tap techniques. Students are given the opportunity to explore space, develop musicality and to improve co-ordination whilst developing listening and social skills; improving fine and gross motor skills and the exploring self expression.
