Lyrical Contemporary Dance

Lyrical Contemporary dance is based on classical foundations blended with modern dance. This class combines strong centre and precision leg work with fluidity and grace in the movements. A great class to gain technique, flexibility and musicality.

Song and Dance

Song and Dance classes are focussed aroung learning both. This class helps teach students how to perform both whilst on stage.

Group Singing

This class is designed to introduce students to breathing techniques and musical phrasing, but most importantly to provide those who love to sing the opportunity to get together and share a song or two. As the year progresses we hope to include some simple choreography to go with the singing, but our focus will always be on developing voices first.

We have yet to find a spot on our timetable for this class, but have 2 teachers very keen to introduce musical theatre to OC. If you are interested please contact us. OC has a policy of running classes once we have 5 students ready to start.

Show Stoppers/Musical Theatre

This class is based around music from the stage and screen. Focus is given to musicality and performance skills along side technique. No previous experience is required as this class will draw on a variety of dance styles, from ballet to jazz, street, hip-hop and lyrical and include characterisation work.
